It's been a long road and a quick year since our last visit to New York's biggest toy industry event, but we are beyond excited to attend Toy Fair 2026 at Javits Center.
This is the fourth year we have been in attendance, showcasing our products and drinking in the amazing atmosphere of the yearly event. But this year, we have truly exciting news to share, along with some adorable new friends in our ever-expanding product range.

For more than a century, New York Toy Fair has been the anchor moment of the global toy calendar. First staged in 1903 by what is now The Toy Association, the show began as a modest industry gathering and evolved into the largest toy trade event in the Western Hemisphere. Across decades of cultural shifts, retail revolutions, and changing play patterns, Toy Fair has remained the place where new categories emerge, partnerships are formed, and the direction of the industry is set.
Toy Fair 2026 marks a significant moment for Lucky Arc, as the company steps into the spotlight with its first major brand-led launch: MerMates™. Long recognized for its manufacturing expertise, Lucky Arc is using this year’s show to signal a broader evolution—from production partner to full-service toy company, combining creative development, manufacturing, and logistics under one integrated model.
MerMates™ is positioned as the hero launch of Toy Fair 2026 for Lucky Arc. The collection began as a plush concept built around underwater pet characters, and has since expanded into a multi-tiered range. Alongside the core plush line are smaller collectible formats, including Minno keychains, Dinkies blind packs, and Morfin MerMates—larger, premium plush characters featuring transforming tail elements. Additional series are already in development, with plush serving as the entry point into a wider brand universe.

Beyond product, Lucky Arc is also outlining a broader creative strategy for 2026. The company is developing supporting digital content—including short-form videos and social storytelling—to extend the MerMates™ experience beyond the shelf. These narrative touchpoints are designed to reinforce play patterns, introduce character dynamics, and create repeat engagement with the brand.
Toy Fair 2026 also reflects Lucky Arc’s growing interest in collaboration. The company has indicated plans for a creator-focused program aimed at helping independent designers and storytellers bring toy concepts to market, reducing traditional barriers between idea and execution.
For Lucky Arc, New York Toy Fair 2026 is both a showcase and a milestone: an opportunity to present MerMates™ as a fully realized brand property, and to demonstrate its transition into a vertically integrated toy business. In an industry shaped by long cycles and constant reinvention, Toy Fair remains the proving ground—and for Lucky Arc, 2026 represents a clear statement of intent for the years ahead.
